I just received this note in the post inviting us, my family, to a 40th anniversary party celebrating Janet Walkers 40 years of hairdressing.
It’s so important for me personally, as it is for Janet, that neither of us forget how proper, real training works. It’s not just a blow-drier in one hand and a brush in the other; it’s all the other things that we at Alan D still teach.
Customer service, please and thank you etc., proper basic cutting and styling to start with, colour work, roller setting and even perming. Without these skills, can you become a Janet Walker?
